Principal Pops Conductor Jeff Tyzik conducts the RPO in a broad spectrum of music ranging from a little known concerto for double bass by Johann Baptist Vanhal (a contemporary of Mozart) to Scott Joplin rags to music by Piazzolla and Gershwin and contemporary compositions by Mark O’Connor and Jeff Tyzik. This special concert also features three RPO principal musicians: Juliana Athayde (Concertmaster), Colin Corner (Principal Bass), and Kenneth Grant (Principal Clarinet).
Ticket prices: $15; $10 Seniors, Alumni, Faculty and Staff; $8 Students
