Conductor Jeff Tyzik and the RPO are joined by some of today’s great jazz and blues artists – including trumpeter Byron Stripling, Bobby Floyd on the Hammond organ, and vocalist Dee Daniels – performing the music of W.C. Handy, Wayne Shorter, Ray Henderson, and more.

Please note: The East End Festival also takes place on Friday, July 10. East Avenue will be closed from Matthews Street (Spot Coffee) to Gibbs Street. The Pavilion will be accessible for patron drop-off via Chestnut and Main Street or Gibbs between Main and University. The East End Garage will be open with access from Main Street (note that there will be a special event parking fee of $2 in place that evening). Please plan on additional travel time – or come early and enjoy the East End nightlife! The Festival begins at 5:00 pm and there is a $3 entry fee.
