Norman Krieger

Krieger_Norman_web.jpgA native of Los Angeles, Norman Krieger is one of the most acclaimed pianists of his generation, highly regarded as an artist of depth, sensitivity and virtuosic flair. Mr. Krieger regularly appears with many major orchestras both in North America and abroad.  He received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Julliard School, where he was a full scholarship student of Adele Marcus. He was also awarded an Artist Diploma from the New England Conservatory. He made his debut in 1994 at New York City’s Mostly Mozart Festival, and is the founding Artistic Director of The Prince Albert Music Festival in Hawaii. In 1997, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at the University of Southern California’s Flora L. Thornton School of Music. Norman Krieger’s current season includes per with the symphonies of Dayton, Colorado Springs and Long Island. He performs in recital with violinist Anne Akiko Meyers at the Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts and returns to perform in the Grand Teton Music Festival. He has recorded six albums as well as a variety of chamber music collaborations.
