We are proud to announce pre-concerts chats prior to both performances of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ in Concert featuring Patrick Doyle, composer of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ film score.
Pre-concert chats on Friday and Saturday, May 27 & 28 at 7 p.m. are free for ticketholders. From 6-6:30 p.m. in Kodak Hall, six-time Emmy Award-winning composer and conductor Mark Watters, who is also director of the Beal Institute of Film Music at the Eastman School of Music, will host this fascinating discussion about music in film. His very special guest both nights will be Patrick Doyle, award-winning Scottish composer of the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire™ film score, as well as those from more than 60 other international films including Walt Disney’s live-action Cinderella, Disney/Pixar’s Brave, and Twentieth Century Fox’s Murder on the Orient Express. The two will be joined by the evening’s concert conductor Stephen Mulligan, most recently of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, who can speak to the unique complexities of leading a live orchestra-to-film experience.
