February Begins with a Vocal Homage to Love

Rochester, NY – The Rochester Philharmonic opens the month of love with a romantic concert of music by some of the composers and lyricists known for their ability to translate the emotion of love to the musical theater genre, with romantic orchestral samples rounding out the concert. On Friday, February 5, and Saturday, February 6 at 8:00 pm, baritone Daniel Narducci brings his warm baritone voice to Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre.

Interspersed with Narducci’s nostalgic vocal selections from some of the most popular tunes by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Jerome Kern, and Cole Porter will be music from the film Casablanca, Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet, Puccini’s La Bohème, and more.  Associate Concertmaster Wilfredo Degláns and Principal Trombonist Mark Kellogg (The Austin E. Hildebrandt Chair) will be featured in solo roles.
