ROCHESTER PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA PERFORMS
TCHAIKOVSKY AND RACHMANINOFF

 

Rochester, NY — The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will perform a concert of Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff at Kodak Hall at Eastman Theatre on Thursday, February 27 and Saturday, February 29, 2020. Guest conductor Marcelo Lehninger will conduct both nights.

The concert opens with one of the most well-known violin concertos ever written – Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto – with violinist Blake Pouliot making his RPO debut. The second half of the performance features Rachmaninoff’s second symphony, regarded as one of the composer’s best known compositions.

Single tickets start at $24 and can be purchased online at rpo.org or by calling the RPO’s Patron Services Center at 454-2100.

The 2019/20 Season is presented by M&T Bank and Rochester Regional Health – The Lipson Cancer Institute.
