RPO Plays Looney Tunes

Rochester, N.Y., Apr. 10, 2006 – Join the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra on Sunday, April 23 at 2 p.m. in the Eastman Theatre for an afternoon of music from cartoon classics. Michael Butterman, Principal Conductor for Education and Outreach (The Louise and Henry Epstein Family Chair), leads the orchestra in an animated program that includes music from Rossini’s William Tell Overture and Barber of Seville Overture, Strauss’ Blue Danube Waltz and more. Ticketholders are invited to attend a complimentary Bagel Brunch beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Atrium at Miller Center (formerly Eastman Place).

General admission tickets are $15, $10 for seniors, students, subscribers & donors, available online 24/7 at www.rpo.org, by phone (454-2100) and in person from the RPO Box Office, and at all Wegmans Video Departments. RPO Box Office Hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (non-concert Saturdays, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.). The Wegmans Video Department is open seven days a week, 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m. A convenience fee may apply.
