"Music provides a powerful and universal expression of hope, and in that spirit, we are honored and humbled to give our support to Ukrainians all over the world by performing our concert."

Music Director Andreas Delfs & Musicians of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra

On Tuesday, March 8, 2022 the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra announced that it would be presenting a Benefit Concert for Ukraine on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 7:30pm in Kodak Hall. Tickets were pay-what-you-will with donations suggested, but not required.

In just 4 days, the Rochester community came together in an unprecedented way. More than 1,600 tickets were sold and over $58,800 was raised, going directly to ROC Maidan, a subsidiary of the Ukrainian Cultural Center of Rochester.

A $20 donation is suggested but not required.

“We hope and pray for an end to the war as soon as possible. In the Rochester area we have seen an overwhelmingly positive and heartfelt response by the greater community with humanitarian aid and financial donations pouring through to Ukraine. We are grateful to all of the volunteers and ask the public to continue to be supportive in any way possible.”
