It’s A Wonderful Life in Concert – 80th Anniversary

Specials and Holidays sponsored by St. Ann’s Community

In partnership with The Seneca Falls It’s a Wonderful Life Museum

CineConcerts brings you one of the most heartwarming classic films: It’s a Wonderful Life in Concert – 80th Anniversary. The film comes to life with Dimitri Tiomkin’s timeless score performed by a live symphony orchestra while the full film is shown on the big screen. Jimmy Stewart portrays the down-and-out George, a lovable “failure” with so many problems that he is thinking about ending it all — and it’s Christmas! Clarence, his guardian angel, shows George what his town would be like if it hadn’t been for all of his good deeds. Experience the most beloved holiday movie of all time transformed into an unforgettable live film concert event!

The Seneca Falls It’s a Wonderful Life Museum was opened on December 10, 2010. The Museum is located in a portion of what was the first movie theater in town, the Seneca Theater. The theater was built in 1913 by Charles Fornesi, the first Italian to immigrate to Seneca Falls.  While the building is undergoing stabilization and some construction, the Museum is temporarily located at 76 Fall Street, across from the Seneca Falls Visitor Center. The Museum started with one display case, special items from the personal collection of Karolyn Grimes (“Zuzu Bailey”) and a wall of quotes from Frank Capra that focus on his personal philosophy of the value of each individual and the timeless message of “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
