Our RPO conductors had a blast discussing their top highlights from a highly anticipated 22-23 season while also sampling the brand new Rochester PILSharmonic beer from our partners at Three Heads Brewing. Listen in as Andreas shares his insight into a few of the masterworks slated for next season including Beethoven’s 5th Symphony and Brahms’ Requiem. Jeff gives us a glimpse into some of his inspirations: the jaw-dropping Troupe Vertigo performing to his own music and an exciting new program full of Rochester connections.

For 2022-23, the orchestra presents a thoughtful and challenging mix of classic treasures, contemporary surprises, important premieres and passionate musical storytelling with world-renowned guest artists. The season features a world premiere by Derrick Skye and an RPO co-commission by James Lee III, as well as music by Jennifer Higdon, Wynton Marsalis and Roberto Sierra.
