Prepare to be dazzled as “one of the most brilliant couples in classical music” (Guardian), Gil Shaham and Adele Anthony, perform Sarasate’s fiery Navarra. Andreas Delfs leads the night starting with Bach’s lively Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Avner Dorman’s world premiere A Time to Mourn and a Time to Dance (a Voices of Today commission), an evocative new work blending reflection and celebration. The evening concludes with Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 (“Jupiter”), a masterful fusion of drama and beauty.
