ALL ROCHESTER PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA POSTPONED CONCERTS IN KODAK HALL EXTENDED THROUGH MAY

Rochester, NY – Due to the extension of event restrictions on the University of Rochester campus, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) will postpone RPO concerts in Kodak Hall through May 10, 2020.

Eastman Theatre, part of the University of Rochester’s Eastman School of Music, announced on March 7th plans to restrict events on campus of 100 or more. On March 11, the University announced they will extend the restrictions through the end of the semester.

Concerts affected include The Little Mermaid (March 14), Beethoven + Brahms (March 19 &21), American Diva (April 17 & 19), The Year 1905 (April 30 & May 2), Thundering Organ Symphony (May 7 & 9), and Ben Folds in Concert with the RPO (May 8). We are working as quickly as possible and considering options for affected concerts, including relocating to other venues. At present, RPO concerts at Kodak Center (formerly, Kodak on the Ridge) and Hochstein School of Music will go on as planned until further notice.

The Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra will continue to work with the University and community partners, and provide updates to the general public.
