Step into the world of myth, memory, and music as your RPO presents a rare, semi-staged performance of Grieg’s Peer Gynt. Led by acclaimed actor John de Lancie, best known for his portrayal of Q on various seasons of the Star Trek series, this concert brings Ibsen’s epic tale vividly to life through narration, movement, and Grieg’s unforgettable score. From the sunrise majesty of Morning Mood to the thrilling rush of In the Hall of the Mountain King, this immersive presentation invites audiences to experience one of the great storytelling masterpieces of the orchestral repertoire in a fresh, theatrical way.
This production will be spoken and sung in English in an adaption by the concert’s narrator, John de Lancie.
